David Roach
Artistic Director | Curator

David Roach lives on Dharawal Country. He is president of the Clifton School of Arts and was co-curator of the Clifton Contemporary Art Fair 2022. A graduate of the National Art School, David is best known as a screenwriter and director. He wrote and co-produced the award winning feature, Beneath Hill 60 (Transmission, Paramount). He co-wrote and co-directed the feature documentary Red Obsession, (Village Roadshow) narrated by Russell Crowe. Recent projects as writer/director include, The Surgeon and The Soldier, documentary (SBS). Past projects include Singer, A Dangerous Mind. (ABC/BBC). His early films include Reckless Kelly and Young Einstein (Warner Bros).

Guy Freer
Creative Producer | Curator

Guy Freer lives and works on Dharawal Country. Guy was a student of Ian Gentle during the 1990's and remained a close personal friend up until his death in 2010. He is a past president of the Clifton School of Arts and worked with the committee on the Centenary celebrations in 2011. Guy is a Senior Lecturer in the School of The Arts, English and Media at the University of Wollongong and works across a range of areas in digital media production, music and performance. His research practice is in the use of immersive visualisation and XR technologies for First Nations cultural heritage and creative industries applications. 

Sheona White
Curatorial Producer | Curator

Sheona White lives on Dharug and Gundungurra Country. Sheona was a Trustee of the Clifton School of Arts in 1996, working on the committee to save the building from demolition when it was in disrepair. At that time Sheona was the Deputy Director and Senior Curator of the Wollongong City Gallery. Sheona has held senior curatorial programming positions in national, state, and regional cultural institutions. Sheona has developed and/or initiated key programs in many cultural institutions including the National Gallery of Australia, National Museum of Australia, the Art Gallery of NSW, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Wollongong City Gallery, City of Sydney Libraries, Penrith Regional Gallery Home of the Lewers Bequest.
